Cheongju City Opens Startup Café ‘Café203 Chungcheongbuk-do Branch’
Cheongju City Opens Startup Café ‘Café203 CBNU’ - Expected to Serve as Space for Startup Interaction and Base for Technical Startup Revitalization – Cheongju City held the opening ceremony for the ‘Café203 CBNU’ (opposite CBNU Main Gate, 46, Naesudong-ro, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju-si)’, a startup café in Cheongju City serving as a hub for business interaction and networking for startups and prep entrepreneurs, on the 13th at 4:30 pm. This day’s opening ceremony was attended by over 70 distinguished visitors, including officials from Chungcheongubk-do, Cheongju City, and the Chungbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center and CEOs of startups in Cheongju City, and following the signboard hanging ceremony and commemoration ceremony, CEO Kim Tae-hoon of ‘foodyworm’ delivered a special lecture on startups. Cheongju City’s startup café was prepared to support the startup activities of prep entrepreneurs and startups from a civilian-run café space. The Chungbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center received support from the city and chose ‘Café203 CBNU’ this past May as its final business, and is now operating the startup café. Currently, the Chungbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center website is always recruiting users for the startup café, seeking out those who are in or have completed the center’s programs, such as the Startup School, as well as university students in their respective school’s startup clubs. Users will be provided with a space for business networking as well as beverages during the project duration, and plans are in place to hold seminars and provide education aimed at helping with startups.
