Cheongju-siSelects 6 Beautiful Signboards for 2018
- 1 Grand Prize forBread Bro (BRO) , 1 Gold Prize, 2 Silver Prizes, and 2 Bronze Prizes - Cheongju-si selected 6 award winners for the Cheongju Beautiful Signboard Contest 2018 . This year marks the 8th year for the Cheongju Beautiful Signboard Contest, which is held annually. It was implemented for the purpose of making quality improvements and propose desirable directions for outdoor advertisements with original and beautifully designed signboards that fit the urban landscape. The applications for this year’s contest were received from October to mid-November and went through strict evaluations by the Cheongju Outdoor Advertisements Committee . There were a total of 20 pieces that were submitted – 3 clothing stores, 5 coffee shops, 3 dessert shops, 1 traditional tea shop, 1 flower shop, 1 bakery, 1 restaurant, 2 related to beauty salons, 2 advertisement businesses, and 1 realtoroffice. As a result of evaluation, the following signboards were selected as winners:▲1 grand prize to ‘Bread Bro (BRO)’, ▲1 gold prize to‘ciocaky’ , ▲2 silver prizes to ‘Man Picking Clothes for You ’ and ‘Dal, Dare Cafe ’, and ▲2 bronze prizes to ‘Susurros ’ and ‘Seolyeonjae ’. grand prize winner Bread Bro (BRO) was evaluated highly for its design, whichexpressed the warm feelings of a bakery with simple lines and blank spaces. Other winners were also evaluated higher than last year’s winners for the designs and originality that made the fullest of the characteristics of the material. The award ceremony will be held on the Citizens Commendation Day on December 17 (Mon) and commendation plaques will be conferred.
