The Life Agriculture Hall of Miraeji Theme Park (located in Ochang-eup, Cheongwon-gu), where the 2018 Cheongwon Organic Life Festival was held, will be open year-round.

The Life Agriculture Hall was one of the most popular attractions during the successful run of the festival, which saw over 503,000 visitors.

Set up in the Cheongju Agricultural Technology Service Center, the Life Agriculture Hall is composed of the Scents Tunnel, Subtropical Hall, Urban Agricultural Hall, Life Hall, and more. Here, visitors can find tropical fruits such as papayas, lemons, bananas, and dragon fruits, as well as pitayas, fruits and vegetables, over 200 types of plants, a vanda falcata exhibition, succulent plants and cacti garden, plant wall hydroponic garden, urban farming and organic horticulture exhibition, hanging garden, chili pepper tunnel, snake gourd tunnel, squirrel tunnel, bird exhibit, doctor fish experience, grafted plants, leaf vegetable garden, carnivorous plant exhibit, dry flower tunnel, the garden of four seasons, and more. Overflowing with new and diverse sights to enjoy, the Life Agriculture Hall was a great hit among visitors, drawing gasps and exclamations from those exploring everything it had to offer.

The Cheongju Agricultural Technology Service Center is opening the Life Agriculture Hall to the public from 10 am to 5 pm (closed on Mondays) year-round at no charge. As such, residents who couldn’t get their fill during the festival and visitors to the theme park will have yet another sight to enjoy.
