Cheongju-si concluded the construction of the Aerospace Career Experience Center on the 12th. The construction of the center was chosen as a settlement area pioneer project by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in 2016, and a total of KRW 367 million, including KRW 350 million in national funds, was invested into the project. The center is located at 171, Myeongam-ro, Sangdang-gu, Cheongju-si (Myeongam-dong) on the 3rd floor of Exhibition Center 3 at Cheongju Land Maintenance Office. The city installed a flight cabin (cabin training system), security check point, and flight simulator zone in 312.5㎡ of land. The installation of the Aerospace Career Experience Center is expected to open up many opportunities for youths in the Cheongju region to experience aerospace, and as a result greatly benefit the training of future aerospace personnel. To use the center, apply to the Chungbuk Council of the Young Falcons of Korea (☎043-284-5999) in advance.
