- Opening of Joint Briefing Session upon Project Approval Application of Business Operator on October 20 -
The City will push ahead with a full-fledged『South Cheongju Hyeondo General Industrial Complex Construction Project』through investing total business expenses of KRW 205.7 billion up until the year 2021 built on a scale of about 1,041,817 ㎡. This complex will be built in the areas around Seondong, Maebong, Dalgye, Simok, and Jukjeon-ri. As Korea Land and Housing Corporation, the business operator, has applied for approval of the Planning for South Cheongju Hyeondo General Industrial Complex on October 20, Cheongju City is holding joint briefing session to listen to its citizens‘ opinions at the council chamber on the 2nd floor of Hyeondo Nonghyup (National Agricultural Cooperative Federation) in Hyeondo-myeon on November 1, which targets the residents and parties concerned in the scheduled site of industrial estate. At the joint briefing session, the City will explain to the citizens and the interested parties about the following and will collect opinions from them. △ Plans for South Cheongju Hyeondo General Industrial Complex △ Environmental Impact Assessment △ Transportation Impact Assessment △ Pre-Disaster Impact Assessment and △ Measures for Establishing Connected Transportation Systems The major matters, such as the plan for industrial complex, will be open to the public to read at the Urban Development Division of Cheongju City, Administrative Welfare Center in Hyeondo-myeon, and Administrative Welfare Center in Sintanjin-dong, Daedeok-gu until November 14, and citizens can submit their opinions in writing within the reading period.
