In order to satisfy the need for leisure activities of urban residents and create vitality in rural area, Cheonju City operates 'Bus Tour for Rural Resort Village Experience' for 2,000 citizens and organizations until December. This tour will be conducted for urban residents to understand the value of agriculture and rural towns and promote the consumption of local agricultural products. Target participants are urban residents who live in areas other than agricultural and fishing villages, either individuals who hope to have rural experience or groups such as urban schools and companies that want to experience rural areas. It is possible to participate in connection with other tour programs for rural experience. Those who hope to participate can apply through the Division of Agricultural Administrative Support in NH Nonghyup Cheongju branch. Out of the tour fee, 40,000 won, 30,000 won will be supported and for 10,000 won that participants pay, local agricultural products will be provided. Out of the supported expense of 30,000 won, 20,000 won will be provided by the city and 10,000 won will be provided by NH Nonghyup Bank and the expense will be used for the cost of experience, lunch, renting buses, and traveler's insurance. The major bus tour destinations are 8 placesーGangnae Yeonggot Village( Gangnaemyeon), Obaksa Village(Hyeondomyeon), Beolrat Hanji Village( Munuimyeon), Dolodol Village(Namyimyeon), Malmi Jangteo Village( Gadeokmyeon), Sagwa Village(Miwonmyeon), and Godumi Village(Nangseongmyeon), and Dorozum Village(Miwonmyeon).
