- 16 classes for adults, 22 reading club classes for young children and elementary students, a total of 641 people -

Chungju Osong Library (Director Myeong-ok Park) is recruiting students for the culture classes starting February 17th, and the members for the reading clubs starting February 18th for the first half of the year 2016 on the first-come-first-served basis.

The program consists of 16 culture classes for adults and 22 reading club classes for young children and elementary students, recruiting a total of 641 people.


Chungju Osong Library recruits 30 people for 2 culture classes (reading, writing, children's English song play for parents) and 30 children for the 2 reading club classes (Let's play, history!, Elementary everyday science).


Seowon Library recruits 95 people for 5 culture classes (Teaching history essay writing for children, Storytelling principle math by mothers, Reading oriental classics, Art of communication with children, Books and essays for my life) and 90 children for the 6 reading club classes targeted at young children and elementary students (Creative reading art, Reading ideas, Reading philosophy, Reading people in the Korean history, Reading people in the world history, Reading debate).

Also, Heungduk Library recruits 95 people for the 5 culture classes (Our history, Calligraphy, Reading guidance in connection with elementary textbooks, Math guidance, Fairy tale expression play) and 84 children for the 6 reading club classes targeted at young children and elementary students (Book-gurugi reading club, English, Book-baragi reading club, Science class, Storytelling Korean history, Fairy tale story telling).

Shinyulbong Children's Library recruits 70 people for the 4 culture classes (reading counseling, homework guidance utilizing recycled items) and 60 children for the 3 reading club classes targeted at young children and elementary students (Fairy tale imagination, English, Korean history).

Oksan LIbrary recruits 12 people for one culture class (Adult reading club) and 90 children for the 5 reading club classes targeted at young children and elementary students (English story telling, Science experiment, Growing ideas on fairy tale, Korean history, World history essay writing).

Application can be made on the library homepage (http://library.cheongu.go.kr) and the tuitions for all the classes are free except for the textbook fee.
