-has constructed in community center, welfare facility, health facility and other 58 public spaces City of Chengju has constructed free public WiFi zone in 58 public places such as community center, welfare facilities and health facilities and started the internet service. This business is collaboration of ministry of science, ICT and future planning, telecommunication company and Chengju city as the form of matching fund, which is a foundation construction business in order to relieve the burden of telecommunication fee of the citizens. Last year, the city has already constructed public WiFi zone in 57 public places such as public offices, welfare facilities, and traditional markets and in service. This year, by extending its construction to community center and transportation facilities(bus terminal) and other 58 spaces, the city received favorable responses from the public. They attached sign for public WiFi zone that citizens can know whether or not the WiFi is there. If anyone connects their smart phones to "public WiFi Free", they can use the internet without charges.
