Take Part in the Civil Defense Drill on August 20th
8월 20일 민방위훈련에 참가하세요 □ What is the civil defense drill? ○ Civil defense drill refers to a series of activities conducted in order to protect the lives and properties of the public from emergency situations, including wars and natural disasters. When an emergency situation occurs, air sirens will go off to encourage evacuation. 민방위 훈련이란? 민방위는 전시 및 재난 등 각종 사태로부터 국민의 생명과 재산을 보호하기 위한 활동이다. 위험상황이 발생하면 주민이 대피하도록 경보를 발령한다. □ When? ○ Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm 언제 실시되는가? 2014년 8월 20일 오후 2시 □ Where? ○ Across the nation(Korea) 어디서 실시하는가? 전국 □ What? ○ Drills for evacuation, control and recovery activities after siren warning is issued assuming air-raid situations 무엇을 실시하는가? 공습상황에서 경보 발령에 따른 주민 대피 및 수습·복구 훈련 □ Siren warning ○ At 2 p.m. on Aug. 20, siren (air-raid warning) will go off for 3 minutes across the country to inform the start of the drill; during the 15 min of the drill, traffic of pedestrians and vehicles will be controlled. 경보발령 오후 2시를 기해 전국적으로 동시에 3분간 사이렌(공습경보)이 울리며, 이후 훈련이 진행되는 15분간 전국 주요도로에서 주민이동 및 교통이 통제된다. □ What to do during the drill? ○ When an air-raid warning is issued, you shall close gas valves, turn off electronic appliances and go to the nearest shelter. ○ If you hear an air-raid warning when you are outside, move to the nearest shelter following the guidance of safety staff. If you cannot find a shelter, look for any cover you can find. ○ After arriving at the shelter, stay informed with TV or radio on, and follow instructions of the National Emergency Management Agency. ○ If you are driving, park your car in an empty lot or on the right side of the road. ○ Be prepared. Check where the nearest, designated shelters are. Prepare a medicine kit, emergency items, and gas masks at home in advance. 훈련 동안 뭘 해야 하나? ‧ 공습경보가 발령되면 화재위험이 있는 가스와 전기제품 스위치를 끄고 가장 가까운 지정 대피소로 대피한다. ‧ 거리를 걷고 있는데 공급경보가 울렸다면 유도요원의 통제에 따라 가장 가까운 인근 지정 대피소로 대피한다. 야외에 대피장소가 없을 경우, 지형지물을 이용해 대피한다. ‧ 대피장소에서는 계속 방송을 들으며 소방방재청의 지시에 따른다. ‧ 운전 중이라면 가까운 빈터나 도로 우측에 정차시킨다. ‧ 우리 집과 직장에서 가장 가까운 대피소가 어디인지 알아두고, 가정 내 비상대비 물품과 비상약품, 화생방전 대피물품을 구비해둔다. |
