Subject	Cheongju announced the launching of the 'Cheongju City Content Editor' in the temporary government building's conference room on Dec. 16. A total of 20 editors were selected as Cheongju Content Editors after 56 applications were received last month, and they will begin actively promoting online from next year after receiving a letter of appointment. Unlike the supporters that have been conducted so far, the 20 people selected with higher bars as 'Cheongju City Content Editor' are those who can promote online via social media (Those who can create card news, video, webtoon, essays and photos). The new editors will be publicizing the city government activities to citizens in various formats. The activities include not only city administration related to Cheongju, but also online postings of activities such as tourist attractions, festivals, events, and food. Furthermore, it involves sharing the story of Cheongju where citizens can have fun living at ease. Cheongju plans to continually promote training workshops, planning meetings to share ideas, and joint postings to cover festivals and events to boost the morale of content editors, encouraging their PR endeavors. As part of the launching ceremony, certificates were awarded to the winners of the last video contest, 'Finding Hidden Beautiful Spots in Cheongju.' A city official said, “Empathizing and communicating with citizens are everything. Fast and effective real-time promotion of municipal administration using social media is crucial.” He added, “Using social media and their unique ideas, the editors will deliver fun and informative news about the city administration to citizens to help us communicate and empathize with our citizens.”
