This year’s Cheongju City Tour Program offers a dramatically improved tourist course with special themes and activities, and is designed to give a round-trip tour of tourist attractions in Cheongju. Reflecting the feedback from previous tour program participants who felt that the original tour route was too long, and did not allow for sufficient time to participate in activities, the original tour route was divided into several regional themes to allow sufficient time for tourists to participant in activities. In particular, five representatives including the mayor of Cheongju, Han Beom-deok, and the Chief Director of Wunbo Culture Foundation, Yim Su-jeong, held an agreement ceremony for the ticket price discount program for Wunbo's House in Jikji Room located in the city hall at 2.00 p.m. on the 12th. Through the program, the admission ticket price for Wunbo’s House will be reduced by half from KRW 6,000 to KRW 3,000. In addition, in order to encourage more active operation of frequent tour programs, the maximum number of applicants will be reduced from 30 people to 20 people. Meanwhile, Cheongju City Tour Program is available regularly on every Saturday and Sunday in four different courses. There are also frequent tour programs where tourists can select three themed-courses and freely explore hidden attractions in Cheongju.
