In order to accelerate the development of Cheongju-si integrated industrial complex, industrial complex management corporation had opening ceremony and inauguration ceremony of chairman with 60 participants including Mayor Lee Seoung Hoon, relevant organizations and member corporates at the corporate office inside Oksan Industrial Complex at 3PM on December 5. The event was held in order of plate unveiling ceremony, opening ceremony and inauguration of the first chairman. First chairman, You Ma Yeong said "Cheongju-si integrated industrial complex is receiving attention as the major industrial complex at the central Korea based on its excellent environment and concentrated businesses of electronic, chemistry, metal, fiber and paper" and "the management corporate will conduct dynamic programs to make the industrial complex not simply stay as a exemplary industrial complex, but to be a successful model popular around the nation." in his inauguration speech. Also, he added "the corporate will improve competence of local community through upgrading industrial structure based on systematic support and management, and information exchange and technical tie-up among the member companies", and "we ask for your continuous interest and support for Cheongju-si integrated industrial complex to develop as the representative industrial complex in Korea". Cheongju-si integrated industrial complex is located at the 2.11㎡ site around Oksan-ymeon, Ochang-eup, Hyeondo-myeon, and Naesu-eup of Cheongju, and will manage total 9 complexes including those that are not constructed yet. The corporate, who celebrated its start with great opening, is going to promote systematic deliberation of business and post-management in order to keep its high name as central industrial complex in central Korea by continuously selecting and managing business that fit the characteristics of industrial complex. Also, by constructing and vitalizing various cooperative networks such as vitalization of personal and physical exchange, promotion of technical tie-up, and composing an council for various purposes, it will maximize the synergy effect.
