2014 Cheongju Jikji Festival showcases a variety of performances
- Including performances by the citizens’ choir, media performance Jikji and pop singers - The 2014 Cheongju Jikji Festival, held from the 15th to the 19th at various venues including the Cheongju Ancient Print Museum and Arts Center with a theme of ‘Great Birth’ will also feature various performances. The opening performance to be held at 6:30 PM of the 15th on the special stage at Cheongju Ancient Print Museum will launch the Festival with performances by 200 people representing 8 citizens’ organizations of Cheongju, including the citizens’ choir, media performance Jikji and pop singer Hong Gyeongmin. Other events include performances featuring art or citizens’ participation. Students are encouraged to participate in magic performances and Jiki Quiz. Performances by Poppin Hyunjun, Park Aeri and hidden singer teams, Cheongju City Art Group, Cheongju Yechong, Cheongju Minyechong and C Festival will also hold performances during the night time. Citizens’ art groups, hobby groups, local children’s centers, Chungbuk intangible treasure-related organizations and family singing competitions will also hold performances daily.
