A wide array of exciting performances at the Cheongwon Life Festival
- Twelve teams representing some of the best resident programs were showcased - The city of Cheongju held performances of folk songs, Korean dance and percussion music on the main stage for the Cheongwon Life Festival starting from 2 PM of the 2nd. Over 300 spectators gathered to enjoy the performance, given mostly by members of the resident programs that had worked hard on their skills for the past year. Twelve teams were selected through a competition last month held at four Gu offices for this day’s performance, which included traditional Korean rural music, Nata percussion music, yoga, aerobics, Korean dance and percussion instrument performances. A congratulatory performance was also held by Cheongju City Traditional Music Orchestra before the main event The saxophone performance team, consisting of residents of Gadeok-Myeon added to the festive atmosphere.
